GUIDE
EASY INSTALLATION PROCESS
Most riders prefer to mount the main unit on the left side of the helmet to use the controls easily with the left hand. Ensure the location you choose doesn't interfere with the helmet's ability to securely fasten.
Depending on the mounting method (clip or adhesive):
- For clip mounts: Slide the clip between the helmet's shell and the lining.
- For adhesive mounts: Clean the area with alcohol wipes. Remove the backing from the adhesive pad, and firmly press the mount against the helmet for a specified duration.
Locate the speaker cutouts inside the helmet. Place the speakers into these cutouts. Ensure the speakers are positioned correctly for your ears for optimal sound.
- For soft/boom microphones, attach it to the front of
the helmet, making sure it can reach your mouth without obstructing
your vision or breathing. It should be positioned to the side, not
directly in front of your mouth, to avoid breathing noises.- For hard/wired microphones,
place it inside the front padding of the helmet, closer to your mouth.
Use adhesive pads or Velcro if necessary to secure it in place.
Carefully tuck the wires connecting the speakers and
microphone behind the helmet's padding. Avoid any loose wires that could
cause discomfort or interfere with the helmet's fit. Use the provided
clips or adhesive strips to secure the wires if necessary.
Once everything is in place, connect the speakers and
microphone to the main unit. This typically involves plugging the
connectors into the corresponding jacks on the main unit. Ensure the
connections are secure.
You may need to ride with the headset a few times to
determine the best placement for the speakers and microphone. Don't
hesitate to make adjustments for comfort and sound quality.
