GUIDE
NOTE
It's important to note that helmets come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and designs. From full-face to modular, and open-face to off-road, the specific features of your helmet can influence the installation process. Consequently, while we aim to provide a comprehensive and universal guide, there may be instances where you'll need to adapt the steps to fit the unique aspects of your helmet. Whether it's the placement of components to suit specific helmet contours or adjusting the positioning for optimal sound quality and comfort, we encourage you to use this guide as a flexible framework.
STEP 1
Choose the Right Location for the Main Unit
Most riders prefer to mount the main unit on the left side of the helmet to use the controls easily with the left hand. Ensure the location you choose doesn't interfere with the helmet's ability to securely fasten.
The area should be flat enough for a secure attachment, whether using a clip mount or an adhesive.

STEP 2
Mount the Main Unit
Depending on the mounting method (clip or adhesive):
- For clip mounts: Slide the clip between the helmet's shell and the lining. You may need to slightly loosen the lining to fit the clip. Tighten any screws to secure the clip if applicable.
- For adhesive mounts: Clean the area with alcohol wipes. Remove the backing from the adhesive pad, and firmly press the mount against the helmet for a specified duration (usually around 30 seconds).
STEP 3
Install the Speakers
Locate the speaker cutouts inside the helmet. These are usually marked or indented areas near your ears. Place the speakers into these cutouts. If your helmet does not have specific cutouts, you may need to adjust the padding or use adhesive Velcro strips to secure the speakers in place.
Ensure the speakers are positioned correctly for your ears; this might require some adjustment for optimal sound.

STEP 4
Position the Microphone
- For soft/boom microphones, attach it to the front of the helmet, making sure it can reach your mouth without obstructing your vision or breathing. It should be positioned to the side, not directly in front of your mouth, to avoid breathing noises.
- For hard/wired microphones, place it inside the front padding of the helmet, closer to your mouth. Use adhesive pads or Velcro if necessary to secure it in place.
STEP 5
Route the Wires
Carefully tuck the wires connecting the speakers and microphone behind the helmet's padding. Avoid any loose wires that could cause discomfort or interfere with the helmet's fit. Use the provided clips or adhesive strips to secure the wires if necessary.

STEP 6
Connect to the Main Unit
Once everything is in place, connect the speakers and microphone to the main unit. This typically involves plugging the connectors into the corresponding jacks on the main unit. Ensure the connections are secure.

Adjustments
You may need to ride with the headset a few times to determine the best placement for the speakers and microphone. Don't hesitate to make adjustments for comfort and sound quality.
